Labor & Employment Attorney
Location: Downtown Denver (Mostly Onsite)
Compensation: $200,000-$270,000 base + bonus

Our client is looking for an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join their team in Downtown Denver. This role is a great fit for an attorney who enjoys a mix of traditional labor work, employment counseling, and litigation, and who thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
The ideal candidate has a strong background supporting both union and non-union workplaces, feels comfortable navigating complex labor relations issues, and can partner directly with leadership on strategy and compliance.
What You'll Work On
Advise on a full range of traditional labor matters, including union negotiations, collective bargaining strategy, grievance handling, and arbitration.
Work closely with HR and leadership on day-to-day employment issues, policy development, discipline, and compliance questions.
Manage or support employment litigation involving claims such as discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, accessibility, restrictive covenants, and other workplace disputes.
Conduct or oversee internal investigations and guide employers through sensitive personnel decisions.
Provide proactive counseling on employment contracts, reductions in force, and wage and hour risk assessments.
Monitor legal developments and help the organization stay ahead of changes in labor and employment law.
What They're Looking For
JD from a strong law school; top academic credentials preferred.
5+ years of labor & employment experience, including meaningful exposure to union and traditional labor matters.
Experience from a reputable law firm or sophisticated in-house legal team.
Strong litigation experience and familiarity with defending administrative charges.
Excellent writing, analysis, and communication skills.
Active Colorado law license in good standing (required).
